Maryland Welcomes You to the 16th Century -

Founded in 1977, the Maryland Renaissance Festival is a widely attended Renaissance fair in Crownsville, Maryland. Set in a beautiful, fictitious 16th century English settlement called Revel Grove, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The village is spread over 25 acres. As a whole, the festival is the second largest renaissance festival in America. This year's festival will be the 33rd annual and will kick off on Saturday, August 29th.

Know Before You Go -

You will find plenty to do at the festival. Every year, the vendors, artisans, and performers come together to celebrate the age of renaissance in Europe. The festival features numerous stage acts and events, including comedy shows, archery demonstrations, balancing acts, comedy routines, jousters, and sword fighting by The Dueling Fools.
