Travel Information

The entire team at The Normandy Hotel is committed to making your stay safe and your well-being is our highest priority. We understand that you may be experiencing uncertainty given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events. As the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus increases, we want to take this opportunity to update you on what we’re doing to minimize risk to you and our team members.

You Must Confirm Your Reservation

We appreciate your business and look forward to hosting you during your upcoming visit to our hotel. We will reach out via email to guests who have a guaranteed reservation and we are awaiting your arrival.

Currently The Normandy is operating on a limited schedule and office hours while staffing has been scaled back to meet lack of demand. We are taking sensible precautions to protect you and the hotel staff, and have modified services of the hotel including food, beverage and housekeeping services in accordance with World Health Organization recommendations and those imposed by DC Mayor, Muriel Bowser.

Masks are required in and around the city and inside the hotel. You must bring your own, these are not supplied, as well as any other protective item(s) you feel comfortable wearing. We do not provide sanitation or disinfecting supplies for your personal use.

Social Distancing

We encourage everyone to follow 'social distancing' measures while interacting with staff and other guests.

We want you to know that we are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from guests such as you.
